Is there a way I can display a random gallery image or random gallery images on Unreal Portal? There is a guide but it is over two years old, both IPB and Unreal Portal have changed since then so the guide may no longer apply.

Also is it possible to display the five latest blog entries on Unreal Portal just like IPB Portal?

It is possible to do both these things on the IPB Portal, but not Unreal Portal without some kind of modification.

Thanks if anyone can help. :)

Uh... anyone?

I've been waiting for some kind of help for several days now, this thread is listed right on the index, yet still no help on how to get the latest blog entries or random gallery images to display on the portal.

While the functionality and customization of the Unreal Portal is nice, I also don't want to sacrifice the functionality of the IPB portal either. :/

Unfortunately, I haven't purchased the blog or the gallery so I can't create blocks for it as I don't know the code.

If you're willing to donate licenses for 'em, I can work on creating blocks for 'em.

Unfortunately I don't have that kind of cash floating around to freely donate a license for these, the only licenses I got are being actively used on my forum..

I don't think it would be that hard to pull of, perhaps someone else might know how to do this. :/

There was code in one of the forums here for the gallery. The only downfall to it is that it also pulls random images that are private as well.
