Nice work cricket!

Just a few suggestions maybe.
For the latest section, have the ability to either chose the forums to included or chise the forums not to include.
Ability to select which forums show in the top forums also.

What i missing and can't figured out.
Is to pull latest images from topics (external images) on portal . would be a great addon.

Looking great so far, do you have any estimated timeline? I really would love to convert to IPB3 but without this, I just wont do it

To add portal to you'r default page cricket.

Open initdata.php

Find:

define( 'IPS_DEFAULT_PUBLIC_APP', 'forums' );

replace forums whit uportal.

@dheyrman, I know that, but doing that breaks half of IPB 3.0 it's not even funny. The full text editor doesn't work when editing posts, the moderation stuff doesn't work, etc. IPB knows about it and is workin' on fixing it in version 3.1, so until then, there's not much point in releasing the portal as it won't be very useful.

Ah, well I hope you got a ticket in with them they are working hard over there trying to fix it.

Is the system mostly ready to go other than the bugs you listed?

Please Please will you include the Welcome panel (With Avatar and Info) Cricket, I need it on my forum badly buddy. Also will you be re writing the copyright removal, for the people who purchased it. Portal looks brilliant buddy

there are a few bugs in ipb that need to be fixed first. than criket can start again.

a little respect for the maker of the portal.

ipb 3.0 its just came out, and everybody expect that all mods are done. give cricket some break yeah.

In all honesty, he looks like he's pretty much done, just waiting on IPS to fix some bugs that have halted his progress..

When we do this edition, the publisher's full damage forum.

To resolve this problem, I had to create a page (index.html) where to enter the forum, the member is redirected to the portal.

This. A thousand times this. I always have to scower the internet to find one and I'm coming up short this time. I REALLY need a welcome panel because EVERYONE uses it. It is extremely helpful but it keeps getting cut.
