Unreal Portal 2.3 has been released. It fixes a few small issues. The biggest feature is that Unreal Portal 2.3 works with MinervaSEO.

Update: Monday, October 06, 2008 Version 2.3b
**************************************************

1. Fixed a couple of problems in the installer.

2. Fixed copyright that still said 2.2.3 even though the portal is version 2.3

Just upgrade to version 2.3.3? we must not change anything, only the files for minerva?

By final release, I mean it's not a beta, i.e. it's the final version of Unreal Portal 2.3

To upgrade, read the readme. It has all the instructions on how to upgrade, what file edits to make, and how to make it work with Minerva.

I had fucked up in the 2.3 release, so to upgrade from 2.3 to 2.3b, just upload the files and in the installer, select 2.2.3 - 2.3 upgrade. Yeah, I know, confusing as hell.

Glad to know it worked out for ya.

Naah, I didn't really fix their mod, it was more of a fix in Unreal Portal and integration with MinervaSEO.

I'm currently running Invision Power Board v2.1.6 and unreal portal v2.1.0. Can I still use this new version? I don't see an upgrade path for v2.1.0.

Unfortunately there isn't a path to upgrade from IPB 2.1 since it's too old to support. Your best bet is to do a fresh install by running the installer, selecting uninstall, then running the installer again and selecting fresh install.

If you're talking about an update of unreal for IPB 3.0

The modification will be upgraded to IPB 3.0 once a beta comes out that's not encoded.

I installed Unreal Portal on my forum going: mysite.com / portal_install / index.php, after 'installation tells me todelete the install folder, yet I' ve deleted, because I do not understand why I can not find anywhere in the admin panel for Unreal Portal to configure what am I doing?
